CSB.SCHOOL joins the Digital Region Campus
Cybersecurity Business School becomes CSB Education Group and moves to the Digital Region Campus
CSB.School, the school dedicated to cybersecurity management changes shareholders and sets up in the heart of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Digital Region Campus
It’s official, Patrice Chelim, founder and director of CSB.School, hands over and transfers the activities of the first school dedicated to cybersecurity management to CSB Education Group, whose takeover offer was validated by the Court of Commerce of Lyon this Tuesday June 18, 2024.
Made up of professionals in education, finance and cybersecurity, CSB Education Group relies on a consortium of former employees and minority shareholders. It intends to keep the operational team in place in order to ensure the continuity of training and professional certifications delivered to the hundred or so students hosted by the school.
Vianney Wattinne, its new general director, explains:
“I am convinced by the quality of the educational model developed and offered by CSB.School to students as well as its relevance to the needs for resources, talents and skills in cybersecurity. This is why we are more determined than ever to ensure its sustainability and development in the months and years to come. »
The school now delivers two professional certifications registered in the National Directory of Professional Certifications (RNCP), one at level 6 (bac+3 level) and the other at level 7 (bac+5) in order to train for professions of cybersecurity. With the aim of strengthening the employability of students, CSB.School also allows them to prepare for and pass demanding certifications recognized in the job market (CEH, EBIOS RM, ISO27001-LI). The school is also labeled SecNumedu, an approval issued by the National Agency for Information Systems Security (ANSSI) on its Specialist in Cybersecurity course.
Already a member of the network of 150 off-site training courses at the Digital Region Campus, CSB.School is strengthening this collaboration and moving, from the next school year, to the Digital Region Campus, joining the 6 schools and 750 students on the Charbonnières site -les-Bains. Mylène Richard, campus director, concludes:
“We are delighted to welcome the teams and students of CSB.School, which complements our training offer and strengthens, through its expertise in cybersecurity, the digital center of excellence that is the Digital Region Campus at the service of employment, innovation and environmental transitions.”
